Updates
I know I have neglected this personal blog eversince G is born..haha..what to do, that blog's readership is much much higher than this so of cos' I have to dedicate more time for that...but no lah, this is not the main reason, I'm religiously updating G's blog cos' I want to record his development milestones, you know, kids grow at an alarming speed, so I don't wish to regret for not penning down any of his milestones...
Anyway, there are alot to update, but I think the more prominent ones are:
1. I changed my phone!
- Yeh, I'm so bloody pissed with myself for dropping the 3mth old Samsung F480 in the toilet..yes, literally IN the toilet bowl...cos' I was rushing to change back to my office gear after the stupid yoga session conducted in-house...urgh! Then again, I earned back a Nokia E71...from Hubby Goh of cos...haha...and it's really cool...and in a cool white colour also!
2. Baby G is turning 17mths old
- My baby is a big boy now, yes, I still call him my baby and he will always be :) I think my efforts paid off by keep "chanting" to him to call me "mama", so yippy! he keeps calling me "mama" now and it sends me to heaven everytime he does that..haha...He is also the supervisor at home, cos he can remember the routines we take everyday...like after Daddy has taken his shower, he will lead Daddy to the dinning table to get his tissue to dry his ears..when Mummy brings the clothes to hang, he will show Mummy the way to the walk-in wardrobe and pass her the hangers..he's Mummy's "Maid to order"... :)
3. Sending G to childcare
- This is something which I dread, but for my mum's health sake, I think it's only wise to enrol him into childcare, at least it can relieve my mum from some stress since she can't seem to juggle between taking care of Aidanz...and it doesn't help that Megen now doesn't seem to be obedient enough and is not acting as a big sister to both little brothers..I once caught her pushing G away cos' he kept going to her and snatch her toys...sigh... Anyway, have decided to bring him to MIL's childcare, at least I can have peace of mind since I know that she's there to keep an eye on him. And what touches me was that she's willing to switch to part-time just cos' she wants to bring G home in the afternoon to take his decent nap and good dinner. I've kinda changed my perspective of her and more inclined to bringing G to her on Sundays to let them bond. I guessed I have been too subjective and I should slap myself for being so...
4. No time for friends
- Haven't quite been catching up with my pool of good friends cos' eversince Mum moved back, we have to rush and fetch G back home everyday...and I didn't want to bring him home too late cos' I want my parents to have good rest after a long day of looking after 3 grandkids. Sorry friends, I know I have been neglecting you, will try to catch up with you real soon...be patient with me k?
5. No holidays
- Wanted to go on a short get-away this week but..sigh...G has just started on his SM class and I wasn't too keen to let him miss a lesson since it cost quite a bomb to get him enrolled...and yes, I was in the waiting list for 6 mths before I could secure a seat for him. So meantime..no holidays for us...unless it's on weekdays..haha..
