I Cried

Come Monday, I will have to shuttle Garreth boy to and fro my mum's place cos' my dear sis has to report back to work after her long maternity and no pay leave since last year.

When mum was in my kitchen giving me reminders last night (like don't forget to off the water heater after use, use up the teeny bit of oil and throw away the bottle, etc..), I lost control and hugged onto her tightly and started sobbing. Having stayed with her for a year after I got married, I've kinda used to the life where everyday I see my mum in the house, niaming in my ears not to do this and do that, coming home seeing pipping hot dinner on the table, entertaining boy when me and Hubby Goh were busy preparing for work and more. I love the times when the boy has fell asleep at night and I'm tapping the keyboard on my lappy and chit chat with mum at the same time while she catches the 9pm drama. I'm going to miss staying with her, really.

So yeh..we have to start adjusting our life now that Mum has moved back and we can no longer have the convenience of sleeping late nor coming home late after work. Sucks.

Well, on the hindside, I got myself a new bag for the new year (yah, just another lame excuse to spend money!)..it's not LV or Gucci this time...it's PRADA!

Ok, I have to clarify that this is not brand new, I got this from the Milan shop (2nd hand shop) near my workplace, it's 80% new (actually I thought it's more like 90% new!) and at a very affordable price. Initially wanted to get a brand new Miu Miu which Hubby Goh has kindly agreed to sponsor, but with the economic uncertainty right now, I changed my mind and got this instead. Nope, Hubby didnt' pay for this, I did...it's so precious right now that it's still sitting pretty on top of my wardrobe unwrapped...haha.

Alright..so this will be my first and last splurge for the year...hear me..hehe..
