Free Pizza Free Beer!
Was supposed to meet up with the old gin gang last evening at the Wine Company but the all-time "pilot queen", Ms Lisa Ho Ho HO, had to "put plane" last minute and called off the much anticipated dinner gathering.
Nevertheless, still managed to meet up with Lori to do some "light" shopping and catching up, since the last time we met was like 6 months back?
And so we decided to head for Suntec instead of Wine Company since it was more accessible...and cos' Iora was having sale at Tower 2 square too..hur hur hur. But upon reaching the Convention Centre, we were immediately greeted with the Body Shop Sale sign. It closes at 7pm for the day and it was 6.35pm when we checked the time. "Chiong Lah!" Lori exclaimed, so we fastened our pace and dashed to level 4 hoping to grab some good buys at the 11th hour.
Not too bad this time round, I got the bath foams and moisturisers I needed.
Total shopping time: 15mins. Total damage done: S$72.65!! But we were both happy lah..haha..
And what beats more than a free pizza dinner?!
Lori has kuped this huge stack of Pizza Hut vouchers at the recent S'pore Wakeboard Fest where she helped out, so not wanting to splurge on food after the shopping spree, we found a cosy corner in Pizza Hut and pigged out. We shared gossips, we whined about work, and we had loads of fun indeed.
First it was free pizza, then it was free beer. The hubby and his ex colleagues were at Paulaner celebrating KB's birthday so I dropped by to say Hi so that I can hit a free ride home from the hubby. Hehe. They were a bunch of nice guys, bought me a full tall Ale and made me "tah" with the Birthday boy. Haha...I admit that I could no longer hold my liquor as well as 5 yrs ago. Now half a mug of beer can jolly well send me to my dreamland. I know, I'm such a loser. All thanks to the hubby who refused to chiong with me after we got married. To him, loud music = noise. He rather buys his beer from the kopitiam, raise his legs on the plastic chair and tah with his frens. Sigh. Sad. See the irony of Men before and after marriage? *roll eyes*
