Rediscovering People's Park Complex
Headed for Chinatown last evening afterwork, hoping that the toiletries shop I frequent has re-stocked the Desquacreme I needed a week ago.
So there I was on the escalater in the newly renovated People's Park Complex. Immediately upon reaching the 3rd level, I was greeted with this funky fashion outlet. Was trying to resist the temptation, but neverthless seconds later, I found myself browsing the racks and eventually bought a black top at 29 bucks. Ok lah, I told myself, I desperately need tops anyway...so as I walk on, I was stopped by another shop. It's owned by this uncle-auntie couple. Noticed that some of the apparels they sell and the ones I saw in Far East Plaza, and guess what? They are only selling at a portion of what Far East is selling!!
So I tried the dresses, the tops...though the auntie is abit pushy and fake (she claims one dress I was trying looked super duper good on me cos' I'm tall, but hey, after looking myself in the mirror, I think I look more like a young-gal-wanna-be!), for the sake of the cheap clothings, it's bearable lah. I ended up buying another top from her..haha...
Finally I bought the Desquacreme. Got a little tat lost and ended up on the 2nd floor of the complex. Noticed that there's this tiny little shop tucked in a corner, so I went in and check out the cute looking grey fluff bottom tanktop. The auntie shop-owner was really nice, we had a little chat and she quoted me only 20 bucks for the top! Cool!
I walked out of PPC all satisfied for the sudden spurge of retail theraphy session. I is happy that I have new clothes to wear next week!
