Sat: At Home :(
Having rested for the entire day at home on Thu, boy! I was so glad that I had the chance to breathe fresh air yday.
It was Nie Nie's bday yday so the whole gin gang of us brought her to Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant for a decent dimsum lunch. Traffic was horrid on Easter Day as many took this opportunity to throng Vivo City and Sentosa for the holiday. We were caught quite in a while in the jam and the frequent jerking of the car made me both nauseaous and queasy that I didn't really enjoyed my favourite har kows and siew mais after that.
We didn't really intend to official announce the good news to everyone. But I guess the MIL was too happy and couldn't sustain the news to herself, she broke the news at the "mgt table" (the snr relatives) and one by one, they strolled over to my table and congratulated both me and hubby goh. In fact, they childed us for being overly superstitious and we shouldn't follow the old wife's myths in this modern day. Keke...what to do, when comes to these kinda things, it's better to be safe then sorry right?
Anyway, Ting gave me a tight hug after learning the news. She's the only one in the family whom I've confided, she knows that I was quite depressed with the number of failed cycles of trying, so her comforting hug touched my heart that I nearly weeped. Must be the changing hormones lah, making me bersek and emo...haha..
After lunchie, everyone headed to Vivo for shopping but I made Hubby Goh drive me to the supermarket to stock up on more milk and cereals. Do not underestimate the hunger pangs at night, when they strike, I must EAT, else it's so awfully painful that I can cry for help.
At night, dinner was at Lau Pat Sat cos' Hubby Goh had to return office to do some preparation works for today's project. It was pure heaven when I get to order my all-time favourite satay from my favourite Stall No. 9. They have the best gravy and ketupat. The meat they used for their satays are chunky meat and not minced meat which I hated.
Sigh. I'm on my own today cos' Hubby Goh is busy with work and will not be back home till tmr morning. I missed him already. Speaking of which, he juz called, yeh!
And duh!! It's raining!! Like that how to go out?? [errmmm..Hubby Goh called to give instructions that I am to stay at home and not wander around outside cos' it's rainning...urrghh!)
