Relieved !!!
Had the most horrifying experience yesterday that I'm still recovering from shock now.
So happened that the night before I was happily watching TV on bed while the hubby was out attending a wake. It was about 11pm when I noticed some wetness on the panty, so I hopped over to the toilet and was shocked to find fresh blood stains! Trembling, I changed into fresh undie and checked the pregnancy book I bought a couple of days ago from Kinokuniya. It sounded kinda assuring when it says that bleeding during early pregnancy does not necessary led to miscarriage, but getting a check with the gynae is still always good. So I closed the book, chanted in my heart, hoping that all is well and tried to sleep.
The whole night, I kept tossing and turning in bed and making frequent trips to the toilet to monitor the condition. The bleeding somewhat stopped, but there are still some brown discharge presence and I'm not quite convinced that it's gonna be alright.
So in the morning, after showering and stepping out from the cubicle, I can't help but noticed a small pc of blood clot like thingy on the floor. Panicked, I took a closer look and sprayed it away down the drain and ran out of the toilet hysterically, telling the hubby what I've saw.
It's something not good, I keep telling myself when I was on the way to the office. So when I got into the office, I quickly snapped on my lappie and started searching the net on pregnancy bleeding and symptoms of miscarriage.
Horrors of horrors, I found 2 symptoms of miscarriages similar to my condition:
1. Bleeding
2. Blood clots
Without hesitation, I picked up my mobile and started to call Dr Chan.
"He is away for a Conference and will only be back this Saturday", the nurse spoke on the phone.
Duh. How can I wait for him till Saturday?
So I told the nurse my condition and she quickly arranged for me to see any gynae covering Dr Chan, but I have to like zoom over there this very second.
The waiat at Dr Chin's clinic was like eternity. Her clinic was packed to the brim on a Wednesday morning and her appts were arranged all back to back. After the 2.5hrs long wait at the sofa, the nurse finally called my name and my heart pounded super fast when I inched my way to the consulation room.
I told Dr Chin what happened and my concerns, so she ordered me for an ultrasound scan to check on the bb. Immediately when she inserted the "stick" into the vaginal, she broked the good news that my bb is safe and sound and what do you know, I saw the little junior's heartbeat blinking on the LCD TV!! Then Dr Chin turn on the sound waves loud and let me listen to little junior's heartbeat! Sounded like horses gallopping in the field..so fast yet so rhythmatic.
Awww......I nearly burst into tears this instance. It's such a relieve that my bb is fine and holding on strong inside me. I thank Daimoku for ensuring the safety of the little one and chant further that after this incident, the rest of the pregnancy will be smooth and good till delivery.
So after a jab on the butt (damn pain can?), some medicine and a 2-day MC, I was ordered by Dr Chin to head home to rest and REST...
BB goh, pls, next time dun play such a plank on mommy again ok? mommy cannot take such jokes, you be good and grow well inside mommy yah? muackz muackz.
