2nd Gynae Appointment
Was on leave yesterday as the 2nd gynae appointment was dued.
It was good to see the fatherly Dr Chan again. According to the fertility calendar, I should be at my 8weeks 2nd day yday, but the scan and measurement of the bb recorded otherwise and I should be at 8 weeks and 5th day instead.
Dr Chan decided that we should stick back to the original edd (26 Nov) cos' it could be that the bb is a tad too long as both Hubby Goh and I are both tall. Bb was measured at 2.1cm as of yday and yeh, we could see the bb's legs and developing fingers from the scan! The little darling was doing a little tango on the legs as we see it twitched from the left to the right, as if doing a little welcome dance for us....awwww.......so cute! And you guess what? Dr Chan spotted a "third leg" in between the little fellow's legs and he said it MIGHT be a boy. But it's still too early to tell la, might be the umbilical cord, who knows...
It should be a gal....I have this strong gut feel...it WILL be a gal...yes it WILL... *cross fingers and toes*
The only bad news is I was diagnosed with low placenta now. That probably caused the bleeding 2 weeks ago and Dr Chan said that there might be a possibility that I might bleed again, so he prescribed me with Duphaston juz in case. However, not to worry, usually 98% of the ladies will see their placenta move up once the uterus has expanded enough to accommodate the actual space for the placenta, but still, there's a likelihood that 2% will remain having a low placenta till birth and gotta opt for C-section for delivery instead.
I'm hoping for the best now...no bleeding no c-section pls...
Note: Weight gain - 0.7kg since 2 wks ago!
