Long Weekend

Springcleaning is almost done, I is so relieved!

Took last Friday off to run some much delayed errands:

1. Close FD a/c - checked!
2. Send new dress for alteration - checked!
3. Buy new vase to replace the broken one last year - checked, bought a cheap and nice one from Ikea!
4. Springclean the house - half checked, now left with cleaning the fridge and toilet windows (keke..totally forgot abt it!)
5. Bought more clothes - half checked, bought more tops and only 1 bottom...I need more bottoms!
6. Change new and crisp notes with Papa to bao red packets - checked!
7. Bought fruits and new bottle to make enzyme - checked!

Talking abt enzymes. With kind influence by the dear o'l MIL, I is learning how to make enzymes now with her. So what is enzyme, you may ask....aiyo...why so ignorant huh? Enzymes are proteins that catalyze the chemical reactions in your body. Like you and me, our bodies do produce natural enzymes, but cos we drink and binge everyday, these enzymes are unfortunately been destroyed, so naturally we have cancers, illnesses, pain or sickness which even the docs can't explain the causes.

The MIL has been buying the recent issues of this particular health magazines circulating from Malaysia for a while. From there, she read and experimented the making of enzymes from fresh fruits and sugar. The process is rather simple and task-free, but there alot of extra precautions to look out for while preparing, else fail, the fruits will not produce the expected enzymes and rot to waste instead. I juz made mine last night, crossing my fingers crossed that it will be successful in 2 weeks time.

The enzymes produced is in liquid form, taste like some fruity syrup (sourish) that gives a burning effect to the throat like hard liquor do. It's quite good actually, better than Johnnie Walker in fact. The half bottle which the MIL gave me will only last till today, so yeh, let's hope the one I made last night works!!
