Don't You Juz Dread Writing Speeches?

I'm mental blocked. brained freezed.

Juz finished a 2-page speech for the MD for our NZ event next Monday. Why issit that MDs or CEOs doesn't write their own speeches? Afterall they are the ones who are speaking and they should know what they wanna write. We obviously have the slightest idea to what he should speak. But sometimes when they are narrating (yeh, I used the word narrating, cos' they are purely reading from script!), boy, I feel so proud of myself, cos' they are actually speaking on behalf of us, they are our VOICE, our puppets! They speak on what we want to say, so add more pointers in one paragraph, you see them panting and grasping for breath completing the sentences. Haha..serve them right.

So people, dun be fooled next time you hear the Ministers giving speeches. They might just be prepared by their Corp Comms unit or right/left-hand men. You think they so free can come up with such bombarstic speeches over the night ah? Nay....nay..boo..boo..

Ok, back to vetting the speech now...*yawn*
