Pics Blogging Todae
I'm just gonna photo-blog today, cos' going for a meeting later, no time, no time..
My room in Novotel. The block was recently renovated, not becos' of the Tsunami, Novotel wasn't affect by it cos' it was located up over the slope. Whiny colleague's room is juz below mine.
My room has the spectacular view of the Patong Beach. Whiny biatch dun get it, she only sees the trees..haha!
Boss's hubby wanted to do a coffin donation to the poors so our guide brought us to this temple owned by some foundation/association. They are the ones who rendered the most help and donated the numerous coffins for those who died during the Tsunami. These coffins are reserved for the poors who can't afford to pay for their family's funeral. I didn't donate coffins, I donated money instead ~ 200 baht.
Some of the gruesome photos of the dead bodies. It was heart-wrenching, most of them were naked as their clothings were washed away by the strong waves.
Patong beached is pretty much cleaned up now. It's as good as our East Coast Beach, or even better! Moonsoon is approaching, so no one's really swimming in the sea.
The weather was terribly HOT during our stay. Was like about 34-35 degrees? If only I have brought my swim wear along, then I can tan and nua the whole morning on Sat.
Tuk Tuk in Phuket. It's so different from the Tuk Tuk we took in Bangkok. This is more spacious and of cos' expensive! We are charged like 100 baht for every trip to and fro the Patong Beach.
I bought a bikini and some beach wears along this stretch of shops..hee! Happy!
Our last stop in Phuket - Wat Cha Long, the famous temple in Phuket. Whiny colleague wanted to go there to get a Buddha pendant for a "FREN"...spent like an hr choosing leh..waste of my time.
That's it folks...till the next blog! Muax!
