To Buy or Not To Buy?

The hubby has been in a serious dilemma eversince our trip back from the Honda showroom. He has been ranting non-stop about the 8th generation Honda Civic since the day it was launched, for me, I was like, a car is a car lor, as long as it serves me well and transport me from point A to point B, I don't give a damn if it is a 7th generation or 8th generation Honda Civic or even an uglish suzuki swift.

And so he brought me up close and personal to the baby he longs for...

Not too bad for a Honda sedan I felt. The Civic VTi-S is a better choice between the VTi as the interior is sleeker and more stylish. Check out the steering wheel, it is 3-force and you can adjust your sound system from the steering without having to touch the set. Acceleration is also powerful, juz a little tap on the accelerator, it leaps smoothly without the engine growling. Cool!

No doubt the car is a beauty, but all good things come with a price. It cost a whopping $79K for this car, up by $1.5K since 2 months back. The agent has wanted us to commit it now else the price will soar rocket high. But the hubby is doing his maths and sorting out his finances before he make his decision. Duh, it cost $10K less to get a 7-seater Toyota Wish, 2 litres somemore!

My thoughts? I don't know much about cars, but the bottomline is if he needs to cough out extra moolahs to get this new car, it will so irrational. Afterall the initial $10K which he has dumped into his first car has already gone down the drain, so why should he put in more money for another car? It just doesn't make sense.

In anyway, if he is really getting the car, I'm voting for either the white or the atomic blue. White makes the car looks damn clean and mean, while the blue is something unique, it is not on the roads yet.

Men and cars...we women can't understand their passion, just like how they don't understand why we women needs 10 pairs of shoes for a pair of feet. Wah ha ha ha.
