Taking A Break
Yes, am taking a break from the hustle of work all day. Been busy managing the events in India, CEO's trekking trip to Kasmir, Disty Conference in June and the upcoming Corporate Newsletter to be launched on 3 April. I think I learnt alot juz organising the India events alone, the Indian boys doesn't have any sense of urgency and take their own sweet time to revert important information. You call them up, they will promise to deliver by "tomorrow", and in case you don't know, their "tomorrows" never come...what typical salespersons! *smack head*
Been wanting to blog on my retail theraphy spree on Monday. I was actually trying to be adventurous and wanted to try new routes to get home, so I hoped on bus 65 and headed to Orchard to transfer to another bus back. I could have reached home in 15mins time, but this little "voice" in me urged me to take a little walk to Wisma since it has been a couple of weeks that I have done some serious shopping. Yah, excuses I know.
I made a little discover in Forever 21 boutique. Remember the frustrating incident I had sometime ago? I regretted getting a flora green top with sequins from the boutique and went back the next day for a one to one exchange? Instead of appeasing me (their customer!), the arrogant Supervisor of the store refused to let me exchange, arguing that they practise some dumb no-exchange policy cos' they are no "ordinary" boutiques unlike others. I was super pissed with her frigging attitude then and wrote in to the Forum to complain. But NB, it was not published. But that day...haha...it was so funny I tell you. They could have received so many god-damn complaints from S'poreans for the past year that started to exercise some exchange policies for fickle people like me and you. They do allow exchanges, but it's attached with a bloody long list of conditions like the price tags must be attached, exchange possible only for wrong sizes, unwashed and all that crap. See lah, if they don't practise this like what "other" boutiques are doing, they probably wouldn't have lasted this long! Comparing the service from US to Singapore, I think they still suck big time.
Well, nevertheless, I gave them a second chance and browsed the whole store. Set my eyes on this party dress for night functions - thought I could wear it on Lori's and Samuel's weddings this month, but only realise that their weddings both fall on weekdays! Urggh!! WTF!!
It's sheer material, empire-cut, comes in 2 layers. The beige pc inside has laces around the bottom bit, soo sooo sexy! Now, I dunno when I have the occasion to wear it....*frown*
I also pampered myself with a new pair of shoes. I swear that I'm not gonna get anymore shoes from Far East Plaza, not even if the designs are super pretty or dirt cheap. I bought these shoes right before CNY, look at the state of them now, I am so heartpain k?
Burnt-out heels, is it me or is it the shoes? I don't have any problems with the better brands leh..I need to throw these 2 pairs away cos' I almost slide and fall in the foodcourt wearing them!
Presenting my new shoes!!
I know I know, I have the fetish of buying shoes with ribbon designs, this is dunno my how-many-pair of ribbon shoes liao...haha!
