Demoralised

Work has been extremely demoralising eversince I am back from maternity.


Somehow the numerous changes and restructing in the department have created alot of confusion and lost of direction for all the team mates. Somehow we just feel that our jobscope does not only encompass marketing, we do alot of odd jobs like admin, operations, logistics, secretariat and more to name.


So much politics for only a small company like this. When monthly sales are not met, the blame just come conveniently to the marketing team and the sales team will start venting frustrations on us, cc emails to the entire world to pinpoint our faults, calling us nasty names (marketing gals are all half past six) and expects us to do wonders when things went beyond control. Does these people ever know what the word RESPECT means?


It's been tiring having to fight wars like this and somehow it made us all very paranoid now as we are always worrying if we have done anything wrong and if these barbarians are going to bark at us for nothing again. When we do something right, they assume that it's part of our duty to do so, and when we made just a teeny weeny bit of mistake, the entire world knows and we are condemned and blacklisted for life.

Somewhat somehow, someone in the company is suspecting that I'm job-hunting now and got to the ears of the MD. I swear I didn't share with anyone except one fellow close colleague whom I'm sure she will not bao toh. Have already narrowed down the list of people and well...it could be HER and who else. Recently she has been telling other colleagues things that are untrue about me, putting words into my mouth...just don't let me hear again and I swear I'm not going to make her life any easier in the company.

Sigh..Politics..if you can't beat them, JOIN them.
