PhotoShoot & Birthday Dinner
Hubby Goh rushed home at 12.30am on 21 Sep (my bday!) after his department function to find me already sound asleep. He had earlier went to the only 24hrs Swensons in Orchard to get me 2 ice-cream mooncakes, hoping that I will still be awake and he can sing a birthday song to me with the mooncakes before I turn in. Well, he tried to tempt me with the ice-cream mooncakes, but I just dun seem to be able to open my eyes and shoo-ed him away instead. Haha..what an ingrate.
The ice-cream mooncakes from Swensons. Cute packaging, but I have to tried them yet...Hubby Goh still thinks that I'm a kid leh...got Minnie and Mickey versions..Nice!
So yday, after a good night's sleep, a sumptuous brunch a Breko (HV) and hairstyling at Pauline's salon, we set off and went for the long-awaited photoshoot.
Hee, I brought my Neverfull to the shoot...it was really spacious, we dumped abt 6 sets of clothes and my cosmetics inside and it still has space for more rubbish!
This is the studio..Candida (back facing) is the coordinator, the photographer is still shooting another mummy-to-be in the studio, so we just played time to scan thru' their portfolios and camwhored too.
Pauline gave me a "sophisticated look" yday..cost me $20 to juz wash + blow + set...but I like the look!
Hubby Goh trying to gain some last min. knowledge reading Motherhood yeh...
The photoshoot was a breeze, everything was done within the stipulated 1 hr. I went totally nude for some shots and the effect turned out to be quite good (esp those without my face..haha!). The shortlisting of the photos took us a total of 1.5hrs and I is so proud of us cos' we managed to resist the temptation and only selected the 7 photos we are getting from the package + 3 extra photos at additional costs. Not so bad for a start!
After the shoot, we went home to freshen up. Hubby Goh said wanted to bring me to a new and romantic place for dinner but we have to set off at 5.30pm to beat the peak hours jam.
And here we are at Changi Meridien Hotel - Catrina Restaurant. We took the al fresco seats cos' we wanted to see the sea and the aeroplanes.
The beautiful sunset..
The night falls..
Hubby Goh ordered a tropicana pizza, I didn't touch it cos' it contained the sinful HAM.
I had the lasagna which was terribly good!
The filippino waitress was really nice and offered to take a pic for us..
We were both totally bloated after the dinner and I chose to come back home cos' I had to do the laundry so that my part-time helper can iron the clothes today. Keke..I know it was abit anti-climax, but I was also feeling tired after a whole-day affair. The 3rd-Tri is draining my energy and I hope I will still have the strength to continue my Sunday swims since I've already freezed my gym membership since last week.
Well, though the bday celebration this year was simple, I'm still happy that at least Hubby Goh made an effort to celebrate with me, esp. going to the photoshoot with me. Maryann (the photographer) was telling me that some hubbys would not even bother to bring their wifeys to the shoot, and don't even mention them participating in the shoot with them. So Hubby Goh, thanks for your patience, and thanks for involving in the shoot with me...I love you deep deep always! :)
