Back in One Piece

Yo Pals! No worries, I'm back safe and sound, not affected by the Bangkok bomb scares.

Talking about it, we were actually feasting on seafood and sharksfins in MBK when the bombs went off. We were so oblivious to the yummilicious good food that we got to know the news when our frantic S'porean relatives and friends started to jam us with calls and sms to check if we were ok.

Thanks people...thanks for your concern...sorry to have made you worried...we felt so loved by you *grin*

And so the unpacking started yesterday. I think I spent a total of 500 bucks on the entire trip?? Everyday's routine was basically eat, shop, massage, eat, shop, and more massage..hahaha...and it doesn't help when our service apartment was located juz a stone's throw away from the new and infamous Platinum Shopping Mall. Out of the 5 days there, we went there like 3 times? Haha...The first trip there, I was so overwhelmed by the clothes and shoes there. The guys got so bored following us from shops to shops that they decided to free themselves from the agony and juz nua at the coffeehouses at the basement. Good for them! Many a times when our hands were full, we will juz drop our shopping bags with the men and then continue with our shopping spree. But we were not so cruel lah, after a "hard" day with us, we pampered our men with a full body massage and a great seafood dinner.

Life was like heaven then...

Total damage done in BKK:
- 8 pairs of shoes (damn! didn't managed to break Esther's record!)
- 4 tees
- 2 dresses
- 5 tops
- 4 bags
- many many accessories (funky necklaces, ear-rings..etc..)

I think Jorene bought more than I do...since she extended a day more than us =)

We spent every single baht we changed to BKK and after putting aside the airport tax and taxi fare, we only left a miserable 200 baht for some ice-cream and coffee at the airport before we board the plane home.

Pics in the next blog, stay tuned!
